A small board, all of whom have done this work. Ventriloquism Institute, Inc. has no voting members; it is governed entirely by its directors, under bylaws they adopted.

Mark Wade
Director
Ventriloquist and author, and for more than two decades the organizer of the Vent Haven ConVENTion.
Allen J. Venezio
Director
A director of the corporation since its formation in 2014, and the organizer of its free community music programming.
Board of Advisors
An advisory board of working ventriloquists, figure makers and educators is being formed. It will be published once its members have accepted.
Governance
The Institute operates under adopted bylaws and a conflict of interest policy covering directors, officers and anyone engaged for paid work. Directors serve without compensation. Governance documents are available on request to funders, prospective directors and anyone with a reasonable interest in how the organization is run.
The corporation was formed in Florida on 17 April 2014 and holds 501(c)(3) status with a ruling date of August 2014. Its Form 990 filings are public and available through the IRS and through the usual nonprofit databases.
